01/01/2012 THE MERGER IS COMPLETE

Texas Bookkeepers is thrilled to announce that it has become part of Alonzo, Bacarisse, Irvine & Palmer, P.C. (ABIP), a well-established CPA firm. "This integration will enable us to serve our clients more efficiently and effectively, with a vastly increased range of services and support" expressed Lisa Morton, Texas Bookkeeper's Vice President.  ABIP is a Houston based CPA firm with over 50 years of experience in providing responsive and proactive financial solutions to small and medium size businesses.

Mrs. Lisa Morton will assume the role of Manager of the Finance and Accounting department within ABIP. For current clients, there will be no day-to-day change. The staff will be here to serve you and answer any questions as they arise. Lisa's years of managerial experience will be a major benefit to making this a smooth transition for all clients.

The merger is a marriage of strengths in which both companies focus on the client relationship and stress the importance of good sound communication. Daily interaction with clients will not change as a result of this merger. Obtaining quality data from clients is essential in building rapport and delivering reliable reports so our clients can make informed management decisions. ABIP is a Houston based CPA firm, that has the knowledge and experience of larger firms but is small enough to give each client personal attention.

We share the same core beliefs of honesty, integrity and reliability that build the level of trust clients need. The scope of services and industrial knowledge base will expand to include: healthcare, oil and gas, manufacturing, construction and non-profits. We will still provide the same customized services but our scope of capabilities and expertise will broaden to include tax & regulatory compliance, consulting and advisory services, entrepreneurial services, accounting software consulting, litigation support services, employee benefit plans and fraud services.

Texas Bookkeepers is an award winning business that has reached its' capacity as a small business, "We must grow and expand our knowledge in order to best serve our clients," expressed Lisa Morton. This merger will take place in the New Year wrapped in hope for a successful future.
